ROTARY MOUGINS
DISTRICT 1730
MOUGINS, FRANCE
on 30 July 2005
at 13:20 hours

The above is a (reduced) reproduction of the SALUTE Certificate which will be sent to the club that we toast today.
| SALUTE BACKGROUND |
The International Toast of Fellowship is a District-wide initiative towards promoting friendship and goodwill with other clubs worldwide; in line with carrying out the District theme of “Rotary—Bridging the World”. It is the brainchild of PP Donald “Don” Masson of RC Olongapo—which has been saluting clubs since 1993. RCB recognizes the worthiness of this “salute” program and intends to make it a continuing RCB activity.

| OUR 1ST SALUTE SUBJECT |
Today, we salute Rotary Mougins of District 1730, of Mougins, France. Despite its small number of just thirtyfour, it is composed of very enthusiastic and dynamic members. The City of Mougins is a close neighbor of Cannes, located in the Riviera Cote d’Azur (Blue Sky Coast)—in the South of France, where some of the most beautiful houses in the area can be found.

Headed by club President Patrick Avril, a club donation of a Thousand Euros has been recently given to RCB— intended for our club Scholarships Program—through Sec. Gerard Audineau. We salute this generous club today and look forward to their intended visit to Baguio and our RCB (as per information from Gerard) on the first quarter of next year (2006).

MABUHAY (long live), Rotary Mougins!
